Here's What I know
You need to change the jets in the stove burners to those designed for propane. Then you need to install a properly vented propane locker and tank with the proper hoses to your stove (none of your old stuff is re-usable for propane). Add an electric solenoid valve, control panel and propane alarm and you're done. Seaward makes a small tank/locker/solenoid combination for about $200, the control panel, alarm, sensors and hoses will be another $200+. The alarm and sensors are optional (a lot of new boats don't have them) but to me they're essential. You'll probably have to get the new jets from your stove manufacturer. The West Marine "Advisor" has a pretty good writeup on propane installations. Except for the stove, you're pretty much starting from scratch.Too bad you can't find the compressed natural gas. It's safer and you'd avoid the expense. You might want to read some of the postings on this site about the Origo alcohol stoves before going to the expense of converting to propane.
