Gang For all those who question the black Minn Kota trolling motors (non saltwater) for their tender in saltwater, I will soon be ending the 3rd year with my 99 dollar 30 lbs. thrust Minn Kota (non saltwater)with NO problems whatsoever. This motor has been submerged in saltwater numerous times and spent days hanging off the back of my tender. I just had to add some anti-seize to the stern fastners to keep them from rusting. This motor is 200-300 dollars cheaper than a comparably equipped Saltwater version. I know some have questioned these motors for this use, this is just my expirence with one. Travis
