Check out message # 4498, for my experience with a Westerbeke (I am not the only one with a Westerbeke in a Vega). "Next time", God forbid !!! I will probably go with a Beta. However when my Westerbeke is running it's 13 horses are more than sufficient, I could easily run up Government Cut into Miami with an ebb flowing (6+ knots).
