fwd hatch over v-berth 1978 h-27

Has anyone ever replaced the forward hatch over the v-berth. How difficult was it for you? What measurement am i looking for in a replacement? The same questions for opening ports, please.

measure the lens Is the hatch cast aluminum? Replacing will be expensive. You can replace the lens. (I replaced mine for about 40 bucks - not lexan)

it depends which hatch your boat came with!

my early model 30 (1976) had a high lip molded in with a solid fiberglass cover. i lost my cover couldnt find a new one. i had to put in the bomar trapezoid hatch (which is nice) it required grinding down the lip and filling in. good luck mike
