Fuse rating for H240

What size fuse is recommended for the main fuse on the H240? This is the fuse that is in line with the positive battery terminal. I seem to remember that Hunter specifies a 40A fuse, but I can only find a 30A replacement. Anybody use a 30A or less? Tony

Yes

I use a 30 amp fuse on my 26. I added up all the loads likely to be used together, and it was less than 30 amps. If you have any high consumption extras, this might not be the case.

Source for Inexpensive Fuses

I have had a lot of difficulty locating the fuses used by Hunter for the in-line fuse on the battery terminal (Buss SC-40). It is not carried by most hardware / electrical outlets. I have, however, found a local source that has the fuses in stock and at a price of 75c instead of the $11.75 Hunter wanted me to pay for them. If you need these fuses check out the link below.
