Furling

I'm about to replace my 810 LD furler on my 1988 Catalina 30. Pomepanette LLC has suggested the Hood 707 SL.Any one with any experience with the 707 or other ideas.thank you Roy

You could just replace the drum

Hi Roy -I upgraded the drum on my Hood system, which solved the problem of the line slipping. Your boat would go from an 810 LD (Line Drive) to 800 SL (Single Line) system. Take a look at the Related link below on Pompanette's web site. Easy and relatively inexpensive that replacing the entire furler.Something to think about.Best,Trevor

Broken Feed Extrusion

Trevor,The feed extrusion is broken, so by the time I purchase the upgrade kit and the extrusion I can purchase the 707, or I would do just that. Thanks Roy
