First you need to select a furler type. The sail you buy has to have the right connection mechanism for your furler. I have had good luck with the CDI furlers. But I am sure you can find other good brands.

The CDI FF6 roller furler is rated to a maximum Headstay lenght of 39 ft. Yours is 39.24' so you might be able to use that one. The FF7 goes up to a 47' headstay so a bit more than you need.

Do you want to purchase yourself or find a rigger? You can buy at the West Marine store in Brick (I think it's a really good store) or order from SBO or Defender or several other on-line sources.

Or you can call Dave Thomson at Cedar Creek Marina in Lanoka Harbor (732-269-1351). He installed a Harken Mk IV furler on my Starwind 27 and has replaced rigging on 2 boats for me. He has installed numerous hardware items and rigging for @Ward H as well. He can make any necessary sail modifications for you as well. It's an easy visit for you to find him and talk about it. I saw him just last Friday at Cedar Creek for a few projects on my boat. He'll be around all winter and is probably lining up winter projects.

Where do you keep your boat?

I agree with @Scott T-Bird about giving Dave Thompson a call to discuss your options. Very friendly guy and great to work with, as is his apprentice who is also named Dave.

Last winter we wanted a new furler. Dave tried to talk me out of it but in the end my wife made the call to go new. Dave gave us our options and we went with a Schaffer.
We were also planning to buy a new main sail. We spent a several of hours on the phone with Dave last January talking about wind conditions on the Barnegat Bay, how we used out boat, how much life we wanted out of the sail and available options and pros and cons of those options. He gave me a better sail for little more than a popular on line source.
He also suggested the Tides Marine Strong Track so we went with that and gave us such a deal on life lines we also had him do those.

He'll come to your boat, at the time we were in Barnegat at Mariners Marina, but I opted to take the boat to Cedar Creek. I got to watch the install and he welcomed questions and explained everything he was doing. He also did several small things for no extra charge.

As Scott said, you can purchase from many places and install yourself but you'll need to go up the mast or have someone go up for you.
