How do you remove the head sail? I need to send it in for cleaning. I looked at it real quick when I was taking it out for the season. It looked like there is a little string thats tied to the sail.

If it is a standard CDI furler, the little string is a downhaul line. First, unfurl the sail. Next you will need a messenger line that is at least as long as the length of the forestay. There should be a second line(resembles a shoelace) that rides in the back side of the track and is tied of to the top of the furler similar to the downhaul line. Untie this line and attach it to the messenger line. Don't let go before you attach the line! As the sail comes down, this line goes up to the top, hence the need for a messenger. Last, untie the downhaul line and pull the bottom of the sail up 6-12" & out through a wider slot. This is where the sail will exit as you remove it.
