Hi All,
I have a Furlex 100s furling system and I have recently changed the forestay when my mast was down. I initially thought everything was alright until I hoisted the genoa for the first time. Bottom ball bearings (set of 10) are coming off because the drum is being lifted when the genoa is up. When I inspected the drum, I noticed that the ball bearing tube is not fixed at the upper part and I am able to lift the drum almost 13-15 cms up. Could not figure out how to fix it as I don’t see any screws etc to secure the upper part. I’ve gone through the user’s manual and done an extensive web search, nothing helpful. Anyone had a similar problem? I’d appreciate your ideas / suggestions. Thanks in advance…
