Furler suggestions

Replacing my aging Hood headsail furler is moving to the top of my winter work list and I’m looking for suggestions and feedback on what people have been happy or unhappy with. The boat is a Cape Dory motorsailer with a self tacking working jib, no Genoa. Not a racer, but solid coastal cruiser. Most likely will install myself with the mast down this winter. Lots of alternatives available and I’m trying to decide on basis of reliability, serviceability, price, and ease of DIY installation.

We've had our Profurl for a good while now. Seems to hold up well.

I received a ProFurler when I bought the boat. It was aged and after inspection decided for better long term ease and function to install a Harken furler. It has been a great decision. The new furler works more smoothly when the sail is in the wind than the former furler.

I’m very pleased.
