fuel waste & water fill caps

Hi, would someone pease tell me if there is a source for the black plastic deck fill caps that came standard equipment on my 1988 Catalina 30. I went to West Marine and they never saw anything like them. Any help would be apreciated, thanks Terry.

Caution on the Colored Caps!

Terry FYI...Catalina direct does provide the black, red and blue replacement caps as mentioned. We took it a step further and replaced the two blue "water fill" caps up front on our '88 Catalina 30. The first few weeks they retained their dark blue appearance, but after a month or so they faded into a chaulky light powder blue. We contacted Catalina Direct and inquired as to why the pigment faded so quickly. They acknowledged the problem, blamed the manufacturer and apologized for the problem. Fair enough! You will see the red and blue caps on the website, but the black is just fine. Bob'88 Cat. 30

Stainless

Hi Bob,Is there a stainless steel cap that would fit as a replacement or would you have to replace the unit (fitting and the cap) to go to stainless?

Stephen..Been sailing?You have to replace the entire unit because not all caps and fitings are universal. We opted for the plastic caps which are just fine, but the colors do fade. Good price though comopared to the entire stainless units. Check Catalina direct.See ya at Sunrise.Bob

Hi there. Yes, I made it out 4 times in December...kinda felt like cheating with the weather in the 60's and 6-8 knts of wind each time...the conditions made for a lot of fun.
