I cut the last 2 ft or so from the aft side of the bulkhead separating the lazarrette from the aft berth. I then pulled it straight out from the berth side. Didn't have to touch the exhaust.

My friend had a 9 gallon aluminum tank fabricated at Ram Welding
154 Verdi Street Farmingdale, NY. last year.

I called them for Hard Tack but they didn't keep the template because they figured they didn't need it...

Does anyone happen to know the dimensions on the 9 gallon fuel tank or where one could be purchased for the 272 oday.

The plastic tank in the picture shown, had a label. The company was AFP. They were bought out by RDS. RDS no longer makes plastic tanks. They make aluminum tanks. If you can get the serial no. off an aluminum tank, they will have the pattern. My tank was repaired once and the label is gone.
If anyone has the serial no. from the alum. tank please post it. RDS phone number is 850-584-6898. I also need the no. because my tank is leaking again and I would like to get a new tank
