1/13/2000 To: Service Department I have been reading in many places that it is recommended to always top off diesel fuel thanks when fueling a sail boat, to avoid build up of moisture and consequent algees, and fooling injectors. Also I read and I have been told that it is always recommended to top off diesel fuel tanks, because as a consequence of healing, tank deposits a more subject to shaking and fooling injectors. Please confirm if those are the recommendations of Marine Engine Manufacturers.
