I have been having a problem with a leak in my return fuel line og my yanmar. I think it is building pressure. I removed the return hose off the tank and with a new hose trief to blow air into the tank. It seems blocked but I could not tell what the fitting is that goes into the tank (check valve?). Whatever it is it seems blocked. Any suggestions?

check your tank vent outlet--spiders and mud daubbers like to build nests in the opening, which could lead to a build-up of back pressure in the tank, causing your leak as more fuel is returned to the tank than drawn off when running.
