I own a Oceanis 370 with a fuel tank located under the aft berth. The fuel tank has a capacity of 26 gal. The boat sits lower in the water in the aft end and higher in the bow end. Therefore I can only use 20 gal of the fuel before the motor quits. Does anyone else have the same type of issue and any ideas besides a ton of lead in the chain locker to remedy the issue.

turn the tank around

I take it the pick up tube is in the forward end of the tank. Would it be possible to turn the tank around so that the pick up tube is at the aft end?

Move the pick-up tube.

It is only a hose with a fitting. Drill the other end of the tank and move the assembly. Put a sealed cap over the hole in the other end and you are done. The whole thing shouldn't take more than 1-2 hours. Jim
