Can anyone tell me a source for the fuel shutoff cable on a 1983 Hunter 30?

No shutoff?

If you are asking about a cockpit shutoff there may not be one. I have been on quite a few older Cherubinis and have not seen one. My own '79 H37C does not have one. It is actually part of the throttle. When I throttle all the way back it closes the fuel supply to the injectors. The key, of course, makes no difference. This is obviously not ideal. You can stall the engine in some tight spots if you are not careful.

Same setup as Ed's

I have a 1981 H30, and my setup is the same as Ed's. When I want to shut off the motor, I just throttle all the way back and the motor dies. I have to remind any guest helmsman when we are manuvering in tight quarters to always keep the revs above 1,000RPM to avoid any trouble.

My 78 H30 has a cable

that looks like the one listed in the West Marine catalog as a Morse DC Utility Control. It uses their 33c Red-Jackt cables. You can probably get some measurements and call Morse or West Marine/BoatUS and find a replacement cable.
