fuel pump

I disconnected fuel pump (Facet) to take out tank to look for fuel leak. Now trying to reconnect fuel pump. There is 1 wire hardwired into the pump and a black wire (presume the ground) beside it but not connected to the pump. There is no obvious place to connect this to the pump. Does anyone know where this wire goes?

It grounds to the foot when you put a screw into it to mount it. Be sure the foot and connector are clean. The single wire is your + and the foot or chassis of the pump is neg......
