Anyone know of a company that can polish a tank in the Stl. area?

Fuel Polishing... Is this a onetime thing or an annual need?

Small tanks give you an advantage in that approach.

When you carry a hundred or more gallons then a different system might be better. I utilize a pump filter combination that includes sensors to help identify problems with fuel.

Do you use a main tank and day tank setup?

No I have 2 - 85 gallon tanks beneath the cabin sole. The tanks sit in the center of the boat on either side of the keel.

I have been using the starboard tank. The port tank has fuel in it but not been actively used. When I finish work on the engine I will again work on the fuel in the Port tank. My new polishing equipment should make this task relatively easy.

I’ll be carrying fuel in both tanks when I head north into BC. Hopefully the cost of Diesel will ease.
