My ODay28 is equiped with a Universal Atomic diesel engine Model 5411. I'am looking for filters equivalents for the Universal fuel filter #298854 and the lubrication oil filter # 299381. Thanks, Brad

From my self compiled list, equivalents for the 298854 fuel filter are: Kubota 70,000-43081 Baldwin BF 940 Napa 3390 Wix 33390 Fram P7514 Puralator PER 262F My M-18 uses a different oil filter than yours so I can't help there eh.

This is the one that came with mine
My O'28 has the M-12 engine and it came with a Fram PH2849A oil filter. That's all I have used for every oil change and so far it has worked just fine. I would think that our engines are similar; 2 cylinder 10/12 HP, so that filter would be a suitable replacement. With the cockpit seat open for light and the oil filler cap off, I can see right down into my engine. It is clean as a whistle. PM
