I had a similar problem and the leak was actually from the fuel filter bleed screw. The fuel ran down the fuel line and appeared to be coming from under the fuel pump. Suggest you wipe up the fuel and trace upwards from the fuel pump to locate the leak source.
You should be able to see the leak just from an inspection. I had a leak from the bleeder screw not being tightened enough - it could also be the o ring on the filter by the pump - they should be replaced EACH time you change or open the filter - they are not reusable.
