Hunter 420 Passage San Diego
I have a 2002 Hunter 326 and not sure either fuel gauge (the round dial on the helm or the tank monitor at the nav station) works. The one at the helm reads Full all the time while the tank monitor says Empty. Suspect it's bad senders but don't know. Not sure of the monitor system for Hunter for that model and year. Maybe Snake River? Any suggestions?

I have a fuel guage on my

H28.5, but never depend on it to tell me how much (or little...) fuel I have in the tank. An infallable method for this is to fill your tank, keep track of your engine hours, and know the fuel consumption rate for your engine. This method will never fail you and gives you the added benefit of knowing how many hours are on your engine before you need various maintenance done. (BTW, same words for engine hour meters...)

Sender Replacment

If you replace the sending unit, make sure the fitting that bolts onto the tank is well sealed and tightened. The clowns who replaced mine didn't worry about that and I had diesel fuel leak through.
