FUEL GAUGE RELAY

I have a 2018 Oceanis 45. It was struck by lightning. All electronics to be changed. Even engine Elect. Control Unit and sensors.
I have an extra fuel tank (factory option). Placed on port side. The gauges have a relay before being connected to the electrical panel in the saloon.
I cannot find the old relay to be replaced of both fuel tanks.
Beneteau has not been helpful.
Anybody can help me locate these relays .

Unfortunately you may just need to trace the wires to figure that out. If Beneteau doesn't have an answer it's probably because the location varies between boats in the same model. I'd start at the gauge on the tank and see if there's anything there. You could look around behind the panel and try to trace from that side as well.

Thanks for the reply. I have followed thouroughlh from the gauge wire on and could’nt find anything
(While the relays on the water tank gauges are near and easily found)
I will try from behind the panel.
I am still in need of ideas !!!

Are you sure that there are relays for the fuel? The fuel level sensors often work differently than water sensors, so just because you have relays for one doesn't mean they both will. I believe our fuel sensor is just a direct connection from the readout in the panel to the float arm on the tank.

Look at Fox & Hound (aka tone and probe) - they will allow you to trace the wire with out crawling in the bulge or reaching into small spaces.
