Hello,

Has anyone come up with a solution for the fuel gauge on a Hunter 33.5? It's located on the port side where the batteries are, and it's extremely hard to see. Thought about putting a magnifier over it.

Any ideas? Love the boat, but I ask myself...What was Hunter thinking when they put it there?

Thanks in Advance!

Had similar situation on my 91 H30. The manufacturer name should be printed on the gauge face..had to stand on my head to read it. I don't recall it at the moment. They make an electrical sending unit that was compatible. Just pulled the gauge and the arm out and replaced with electrical version. So for a first pass I installed the sender and added a gauge inside the same locker because the Type B instrument panel is conveniently located near by and allowed easy pick up of power from the ignition switch. I open the locker and look at the gauge as the engine is warming up to see if I need fuel that week...hahah.
