Fuel Filter

Hello Everyone,I have a 1983 Catalina 30 with a Universal M25 engine, can anyone tell me for SURE what the fuel filter should be. Do any of you have any Kragen type cross reference numbers. I also bought a Algae-x in line fuel condictioner at the boat show today, any comments?ThanksJack

I found a NAPA cross reference for the fuel filter and buy it at a local auto parts shop. It is not carried in most large auto discount stores , this is a small shop near a lot of marinas. I think the number is 3390 on the box. I also installed a second filter with a water separator and a glass bowl so I can monitor the fuel condition and drain off any water or sediment that collects. I only use about 15 gallons a year and condensation is about the only problem so far with just a few drops. No comment on the algea-x.regardsd
