Just closed on my new boat but I want to get some engine parts before it gets here. Not sure what filter came standard on the 1995 336. The survey just says Racor filter. So many parts...so little time! Thanks as always.

Racor makes a lot of different models, wait until you get the boat to see which one you got.

Benny is right on. From previous posts concerning this, go with 10 or 30 micron sized filters.. and not the finest you can buy.

In 95, unless ordered specifically, your 336 probably came with one filter. A two micron just downstream of the manual fuel pump. If it has a Racor on it now, it has probaby been modified. Good news! You said one filter, so it probably isnt the small screw on size. But the bigger ones similar in size to an old style oil can. I would just take a read of what is on the filter. You will probably want a 30/10 as previously mentioned. Here is the set up on my 95 336. If you have any questions on your new boat.... just ask. We have done alot to ours.

Is your filter a metal can with a bowl attached? Or is it just a metal can. The metal can is probably a 110, if it has the bowl attached it could be a 120 or larger unit.
