Fuel Fill Hose Failure on 340 & 336
First picture shows cracking on fuel fill hose on 1996 Hunter 336 which allowed diesel to leak.
Second picture shows how the fill hose line is run on both the 336 and 340.
Access to view can be through the aft panels in the quarter berth (easiest) or through the port aft lazarette (more difficult but probably the only way a replacement hose can be installed).
While making a replacement, consider replacing the vent hose that runs parallel to the fill hose and has the same or similar low spot . . .
