M35B Fuel consumption
We count on 1.1 GPH at 2500 RPM which equates to about 7 statute MPG in calm water. Average consumption would be much less including idling around marinas and anchorages. When passagmaking under power, we depend on 1.1 GPH and allow for 5 gallons reserve. This information is for a 2001 Catalina 36 Mk II. I believe that Universal states 1.1 GPH at 2200 RPM. We have found this to be a little conservative. Also we have found that we can add almost 5 gallons of fuel after the guage saus full.
