I have a 2GM in my H31. I have had some fuel problems and while looking for the trouble I noticed there is no fuel coming off the by-pass valve back to the tank. I have disconnected the return line at the engine and there is no fuel coming from the return barb at the engine. Has anyone else had this situation??

Either your have a fuel restriction or you're engine is sucking air or both. In either case your engine wont run well if at all. Start by running a fuel line from a remote fuel jug to the pump and the return line back to the jug. Prime the supply pump by hand priming. Bleed the fuel line at the pump. Then start the motor. If it runs well, you will need to check the fuel supply back to the fuel tank. If you have a screen on the pick-up tube in the tank it could be blocked. If so you will need to have the tank cleaned to fix the problem .
