The one fitted to my Vega comes apart, the problem is that the innards are steel, but it might be possible to clean and service these parts, mine is still going strong,

Subject: [AlbinVega] Front Hatch Adjuster
I need to replace my front hatch adjuster , it no longer holds hatch open.
The adjuster on boat is 8.5 inches long and I cannot seem to find one that size.
Has anyone have any ideas as to where I may get one
or replace it with ?
