I have a Frigoboat system in my Oceanis 40cc. It is powered with 2 group 31 140 amp hour deep cycle house batteries. The system does not cool adequately, starts & stops about every 2 minutes. The controll says low voltage ?? I have checked all connections & cleaned the radiator on the compresor but no improvement. would adding more battery capacity help??

Check the voltage at the unit while it is running and the batteries fully charged with a meter. If it is low follow the wires back checking each connection. I assume it worked correctly at some point and the wires are the correct size for the load. If it is a new install make sure you have the correct wire size per manufactures recommendations for length of run.
