A tip for those who may be interested:Buy an "emergency blanket" from the camping section at Meijer's, Wal-Mart, Dunham's Sports, etc. - it's a very thin silvery mylar sheet, sometimes called a "space blanket". They're around $2 - $3. Fold it repeatedly until the size is the same as your fridge. Tape the edges with duct tape. Lay it on top of the food in the fridge. This little blanket makes a tremendous difference in how cold your food will stay. We had to turn the thermostat down a notch after we started using this as it started freezing the beverages and exploding the aluminum cans.
