Freshwater Anodes

Hello,

I have a Westerbeke 13 Diesel engine that is used in fresh water only. I am looking for a magnesium or aluminum pencil style engine anode. The Westerbeke part number is 11885 and the dimensions are 1/4” NPT by 3/4” diameter by 1-3/4” length. I have done a fair amount of research and have had no luck. If I can’t find magnesium or aluminum I guess I will just replace with zinc... better than nothing. Hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction!

My diesel engine has NO anode.
Why?
It is electrically connected to my shaft which has an anode.
