I have a 94 29.5 at a mooring. I would like to use fresh water to wash the boat. The sink spicket has treads but are too fine and small for a hose. Any ideas?
Check your local hardware/plumbing supply store. Depending on whether your faucet is a common size or not, there are adapters that will screw to your faucet that can transition to a standard hose thread. Simply remove the aerator, screw in the adapter, and connect your hose...
..be sure the sink spicket can handle the weight and bulk of your hose or seek a method to support the spicket and hose in a manor that will not bind or rip it out. Happy clean up, Ray
Install a proper freshwater washdown system. Tee into the fresh water plumbing, run a line to your cockpit or transom, and install a faucet that will accept a garden hose quick-connect fitting.
