Fresh Water Tank

I recently purchased a 1978 Hunter 25. The flexible water tank that was in there was in shreds. What would be the best way to replace it. Would it be better to replace it with another flexible one or one made of PVC? The flexible one would be much less work, but are how good are they?

What I have

Gary,I have a 1979 h25 and the water tank that came with it is a plastic box type tank. It is located under the cockpit sole and is accessible from the port side berth. I am satisfied with it. Do not know whether it is original equipment or not or even what size it is. Fill port is in the starboard cockpit lazaret. I am not sure that, given the harsh winters of the Great Lakes, I would want a flexible tank.
