Fresh water tank?

I have a Hunter 25' 1976, can anyone tell me where the fresh water tank is in the hull? I admit I'm still surveying the vessel, I've found the diesel tank and the hose from the sink leads into that area but I haven't made like an ostrich to find other areas.Thanks,Mark

Look for the water deck fill and you will find the tank in that area. I wonder if it is up front.

Fresh water tank is...

Mark--on my 1978 Hunter 25, the water tank is a bladder type tank. It is aft of the icebox. On my boat, to fill it, you raise the starboard cockpit hatch, and you will see the filler access point (looking down from the cockpit, it is on the inboard side of that area of the boat-has a slotted thing you unscrew). Looks like access is from the area above, since the other areas accessing it are very tight to reach.

Fresh water tank response...

Thanks for the response, I found the supply leading to the bow of my boat (1976). I'm curious, you said you have an "icebox". Was that standard equipment?I've noticed electric coolers in Target, I may use one of those for a journey.
