I sail a 33.5T boat vintage 1991. The fresh water tank situated under the V berth has developed a very significant leak, somewhere from the bottom 2 problems; 1) tank is large for access/ troubleshooting to see the source of the leak 2) any attempt of replacing/repairing the tank entails complete removal of bed support in the V berth which sounds crazy Any one with similar experiencs help Joseph Minkowitz heartbeat18@sympatico.ca

Water Tank Leak

Hello Joseph, My Hunter 335 (1990) has the same problem. I have asked several people here about the problem and there are others with the same dilema. I am planning on removing the alum. tank and replacing it with a bladder tank. I measured the tank, and like you say, the v-berth will have to be cut to remove it, but it will come thru the companionway thru the head/lavatory area of this boat. Good luck, Cap'n Brent Elena Lua http://www.elenalua.homestead.com
