Fresh Water System

Recently purchased an '81 9.2C, and am waiting for a new genoa to be made. Although she is in pretty good conditon, the previous owner removed just about all of the fresh water system hose, other than the feed to the galley cold water hookup. All of the hookups to and from the hot water tank are there, but the source line isn't. It appears to be fed from under the engine to the heater. Are there any schematics available, or does anyone have some knowledge as to the proper way to get this system in good shape?

There is a diagram for the 9.2C around page 41. Not much to go on. Hot water tanks are notoriously short lived. If it is disconnected it is probably dead.

i have this on my boat and it is absolutely the best thing ever... the water is TOO hot.. I have had to dial it down to minimum... it is vent free so no need to vent the exhaust.... there is no electrical requirements so no wires... just low pressure propane hose to feed it.... and it on demand so no tank to keep hot... . I guess it has some type of piezo electric pilot that ignites the propane when the water is turned on at the faucet...
