My current pump is a Jabsco 31750 with 3.7 gpm @ 25 psi. The closest replacement seems to be the Jabsco Par Max Plus with 4 gpm @60 psi. Is the any issue on our system with the higher psi? I don’t know if there is any pressure reduction on the dock water input, if not , the 60psi should be fine.

It seems hard to believe but Jabsco potable water pumps are now sold at discreet pressure settings and are not adjustable :

Sold by the pressure you want.

Definitely. I would only use this on a new tubing system or one in which you are completely confident the tubing is capable of handling the new 60 PSI supply pump.

I don’t know if there is any pressure reduction on the dock water input,
And this is why you must be 100% confident of your water system. Should you weaken any pressure fitting with the new 60 PSI supply while the dock water supply is open .............

Ralph. You know that guy just submersed the bow so that he could get a better view of the whales breeding. It is safer than trying to climb the mast.

New boats are often equipped with PEX plumbing instead of reinforced vinyl. The PEX can handle higher pressures.

Especially not that mast :) Interesting that he brought along a ladder so he could climb from the water to the cockpit - how did he know?
