fresh water system bottled up

With the water tank filled, and the motor and filter apparently working fine, I do not get water to flow through into the outlets in the galley or the head. It starts with a trickle and then stops. I winterized last Dec. for the first time, as a new boat owner, and wonder if an air lock could develop? If not, any suggestions for finding out what has bottled it up? Thanks, Don

Is the pump running?

If it is, your symptoms sound like it's pulling a vacuum--a blocked tank vent. Have you checked the vent thru-hull to see whether a dirt has built a nest in it? The vent line to see if water has pooled in a sag in it? If that's not your problem, how old is the pump? Does it cycle for no apparent reason when the pump is on (and the pump should stay on when you're aboard...no reason to turn it off, it's not drawing any current unless it's pumping water)?
