Hello all!, can anyone point me in a direction of a good ( not 400.00) fresh water pump ? I believe mine took a poop today , I haven't thrown a meter on it yet but I think she's toast . Cheers!, SB

keep the accumulator...it that surflo one of the new style pumps i have heard that they do that often ...maybe change it out next time for a different brand i read somewhere in here a while back about this also there was some discussion about the pressure on the accumulator needing adjustment in regards to the pressure something about it being set at 50% of the shut off pressure at the pumpI bought a Shurflo 3901-0216 in May of 2010. In summer of 2013 I had to replace it (a couple months out of the three year warranty) and also added an accumulator tank at the same time. A little over a year later, the pump did the same thing (pressure switch does not shut off and the pump runs until I tap on the pressure switch. As I did with the first one, I took the pressure switch off, cleaned everything (no evidence of anything inside that would have caused a problem) put it back together and same thing. I took it back to West Marine since it was still under warranty, and got a new pump. This week ( a little over a year since replacement) the NEW pump is doing the same thing. I have read numerous accounts online of this issue. Not sure if the solution is to eliminate the accumulator so the switch works more frequently, maybe keeping the contacts cleaner, but it sure is nice not listening to the pump run every time a faucet is opened.
I have a '78 C30 #1249 in the Ventura Harbor in front of Island Packers.what year 30 do you have
