Fresh Water Pump Noisy

Has anyone found a way to reduce the noise level of the fresh water pump?

Discussed many times.

It's not the pump that's making all the noise...on a lot of boats the hull acts as a "sounding board," resonating pump noise. About an inch of foam rubber under the pump will help considerably.

When my (noisy) fresh water pump eventually failed (after 12 years) I replaced it with the same model new one. The new one is almost silent.......
