fresh water leak

we are out cruising Mexico, yesterday my wife had just finished washing the dishes and then noticed we had no water pressure. I thought at first it was our FW pump..No not the pump then I thought it might be the accumulator tank, No not the tank either. Then I noticed the FW tank itself was almost empty. I had just filled our forward tank that day 100gal. I opened the bilge, low and behold it was flooded with FW. I thought to change tanks . I change over to our mid tank and still got No pressure. Is there a pick-up hose that connects the two tanks that could be our problem? any ideas where to start. As you can see by my posting time "It's 2am" and I cant sleep, my mind is racing with my nightmare of a job in store for me. Any Ideas would be helpful:cry:

I am reviewing the electronic manual to try to get an idea.
A couple things - was a fixture accidentally left on? My shower sump will drain into my main bilge if the boat rolls or the water gets high enough... Is there a water trail into the bilge?
Looking at the diagram it appears possible suspects to be the taps off the main line behind the galley sink for the galley and forward lavatory and again behind the aft lavatory as the water goes to the stern shower. Your pump is at the outboard tank and I don't see a way for the tanks to connect to each other and drain because of a failure at the lower tank. It seems that if you had a failure at your water heater and a leak in your valve allowing both tanks to be emptied the pump would empty both tanks into the bilge through the water heater with all fixtures off and no leak in the system other than the water heater.
I shut the water pump off when not needing water immediately. Hearing the pump run when nothing should be flowing is a red flag.

I had the water tank on the 272 empty into the bilge when a hose came off the galley sink fixture and
empty the tank into the bilge my wife had been washing dishes and failed to turn the pump off...could it be something that simple? She thought she was sinking as the water level flowed above the floor. To
make matters worse, the bilge pump switch was not on automatic. Good Luck

OK all those Skippers and 1st Mates, We found our leak, it was the connector at the Tee under the galley sink that broke . We couldn't find parts here in La Cruz, PV ,so one of our fellow boats in our group told us about "JB Weld" I am now waiting for the piece to cure and tomorrow I will put the Tee back together. Does anyone know of a distributor that sells plumbing parts for a 1995 Hunter430. I will order a variety of parts to have on hand.
Thank you all for responding with ideas and places to look.
Without this site I would still searching and pulling my hair out,
Now looking for parts!::)

You might look for water line parts at an RV shop if there is one in the area.
