Fresh water intake on a 1978 Hunter 27

I just purchased a 1987 Hunter 27 and cannot locate the fresh water intake for the water tank. I want to fill up the tank in order to use the marine head etc. Thank you for your help.

My Hunter 28 requires you to lift the hatch under the v-berth cushions and unscrew a plug in the top of the tank. Hose through the foredeck hatch.

Check inside the anchor locker. The head uses sea water.

Check for a thru-hull seacock under the starboard side salon seat. Mine uses a pump, that legally, we aren't supposed to use anymore in the Chesapeake. And honestly, the boat smells a whole lot better is you don't use sea water to flush.

Inside the anchor locker is your best bet. That is where mine is. Saw it yesterday while painting.
