Fresh water foot pump (under sink) leaking

Frost damage from last winter - I should have pumped the pump dry before
laying up..

The pump leaks badly when in use though not otherwise.

As a short-term fix I've just swapped the feed pipes between the fresh &
the salt water pump.

The pump (see pic below) seems to be have the maker's mark Albin,
presumably the boatbuilders?

Any thoughts on refurbishing the pump? (The photo shows (Left
Hand/forward pump) that the two halves have been forced apart by ice
pressure...)

Any suggestions for refurbishing or replacement welcome.

John,
Mine pump was replaced with a Whale pump like this one:

It pumps water a lot faster than the old Albin pump, squirting on the upstroke and downstroke.

Peter, thanks for that.

Whale Pumps are based in Northern Ireland, just up the road

I'll give them a call.

You're welcome, John, but be forewarned: your water tank will not last as long with a "gusher" attached to it!
