I was wondering if anyone had any tricks for draining the fresh water system on the 3YM20. When I did it I sucked the coolant out of the resevoir and the heat exchanger and then I opened the drain located on the starboard rear of the engine. There is a 90 degree tap with a very short sleve on it to which I would have liked to attach a drain hose but the space between the end of the sleve an the engine block is too small to attach a straight hose. I had to open the tap and drain the coolant from the fresh water loop into the bilge under the engine and pump it out from there. Are there better approaches?
