Kaikouravoyager, I was a previous owner. I loved that boat..so much fun with the gun-mount spinnaker. Ours was a fin keel model. Is yours a fin or shoal draft?

I have the shoal draft..just bought a new spinnaker and would appreciate any info on how to fly the thing from the gun mount

Center the pole and lock it (it will NOT work off to the side)
Pull lower end of spinnaker out and cleat off.
Put tiller between your legs.
Hoist the spinnaker within 6" of the mast and cleat off.
Grab the reins to pull pole and sail fore/aft.
Steer with hiney and have fun playing with the reins:dance:
Stay aft and under the main when you jibe (duh).
Don't sail directly downwind, jibe deep each direction.
And the neat thing is that you do all of this from the cockpit.
