I removed the O-ring from one of the deck plate caps on our 2007 41DS for inspection and found that it was somewhat hardened and beginning to show cracks. I measured the diameter and thickness and checked various suppliers for a matching O-ring. The attached photo shows the style of deck plate that I have - I didn't see a manufacturer or part number on it.
The closest standard O-ring that I found was a metric one: 43 mm I.D. with a 3 mm cross section. At McMaster-Carr, they come in a package of 25, which with shipping added was about the same cost as other suppliers for only 5 pieces. Their part number for the Buna-N O-ring of that size is 9262K746.
