I posted an underwater video of our H466 with the new folding prop. That was installed and the bottom painted by Yachtfishmarine in Port Orchard, Washington. Our family is also having work done a Catalina 25, bottom paint, buff and wax gelcoat, some other minor issues but the big thing was removing the keel and installing swing keel upgrades. Suffice it to say that the 1500lbs of cast iron is something that I did not want to do in the backyard. Not only that but upon inspection the hangers were noted upside down. At any rate it is all getting fixed to our satisfaction.
As the General Manager of a Shipyard in Oregon and having sometime in the marine industry I think I know a well run yard when I see it. Paul, at Yachtfishmarine.com has done wonders revamping the yard the last couple years and has a small but talented crew. They also have a free haul out offer until the end of January. So if you are interested give them a call at 360-876-9016.
