Can anyone recommend a specific cable for my Hunter 216 keel? It's frayed and needs to be replace.

Dave Condon. Are you going to take this one. I have heard people using low stretch denima line as a replacement now instead of cable. Saw 1/4" denima on a Bristol 40 swing keel. And that's. 9' lead swing keel
you could make your own out of dynema or something similar, but you can buy the correct cable, with the right terminations, here at SBO.
I defer to ChuckWayne as he is the expert on the hydraulic keel system of the 216 and further concur with him on buying the cable from the Forum Store. Remember the Forum Store is now owned by a gentlemen who use to work for Hunter Marine in building the boats, later in Warranty and then in retail parts sales which then went to SBO. Further everyone at SBO store has experience and to be blunt, I trust them and they are fair.
