In the mid 80s Hunter installed a mid-ship 24"x 8" sealed cabin port on many of their boats. These 1/8" lexion windows were rectangular with a slanted point on the forward end and the lens was held in place with a plastic frame. Does anyone know a vendor who stocks the frame material?

Try Mark Plastics in Corona Ca. 951-735-7705. They made the original and replacement plastic "dead lites" in our H37C. By your description their the same.

for an upgrade try USA Marine Windows in Dania Beach FL. They can build the exact window/dead lite using tempered glass with aluminum frames thru-bolted from the inside.
Our new plastic dead lites started crazing after six months. "Due to the FL sun" we were advised.
USA Marine will need a template to go by.

Tony, I searched a lot for frame material to match the originals and did not find anything. I looked at USA Marine... fine product, but their prices are more than I wanted to spend. I have not talked to Mark Plastics .. they may be able to duplicate the originals.. I ended up making a frame from pvc trim board .. seems to be working OK. Others have gone "frameless" with very good results. Search the "big boats" section for what has been done on the 34's, which used the identical window and frame.Would be interested to hear what you find from Mark Plastics.
